Easter Eggstravaganza Delayed

EASTER EGGSTRAVAGANZA PLANNED FOR THIS SATURDAY RESCHEDULED; EVENT MOVES
TO SUNDAY, MARCH 21 AT SAME TIME, LOCATION

(March 19, 2010) Weather forecasts show the first day of spring will feel more like winter, so Frisco's 18th Annual Easter Eggstravaganza planned for tomorrow, March 20, is rescheduled for Sunday, March 21.
The free event will still be held from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Pizza Hut Park stadium, located at 6000 West Main St.

All the family fun planned for the Easter Eggstravaganza will still be
happening on Sunday including bounce houses, face painting, games, Easter bonnet and tie contest -- plus, the most 'eggsellent' egg hunt in Texas.
Parks and Recreation staff notified the Easter Bunny, and you can still
count on him hopping into Frisco to leave more than 60,000 eggs for girls and boys to find.

Don't forget your Easter basket! The egg hunt for ages two and younger will begin at approximately 2 p.m., followed by ages three to 12 at approximately 2:30 p.m. Please note that strollers are not allowed on the
stadium fields. Special concierge stroller parking will be available.

Information on all the activities planned for Easter Eggstravaganza is available online at FriscoFun.org. An event map as well as the rules for the Easter bonnet and tie contest are also available to view there.

The Parks & Recreation Department will also be holding a spring and summer Programs Expo. Learn all about camps offered through the Parks &
Recreation Department this summer, information on upcoming athletic, aquatic, and recreation classes, as well as special events. Instructors will be on site with class demonstrations and class information.

Volunteers who were signed up to work the event on Saturday are still needed on Sunday. Please contact Kris Daniel by emailing
volunteer@friscotexas.gov or by calling (469) 446-2898 to confirm if you can still volunteer.
