On Wednesday, November 4, a short section of Preston Road between Eldorado Parkway and Mockingbird Lane will be reduced to one lane as part of TxDOT's widening project.
A section of the southbound lane of Preston Road will be closed at various times between 9 AM and 3:30 PM.
Flaggers will control traffic on either end of the closure and allow traffic to flow in alternate directions through the single open lane.
Motorists should expect delays at this location on Preston Road during this midday closure and are reminded that they can use Dallas Parkway as an alternate route. Motorists are urged to use caution in the area and to watch for flaggers.
