BAYLOR MEDICAL CENTER OF FRISCO TEES UP FOR FRISCO FAMILY SERVICES

As Frisco Family Services celebrates its 15th anniversary, we recognize the success achieved when entities work together to attain the greatest good for the communities they serve.

One such entity is Baylor Medical Center at Frisco who will once again be the Presenting Sponsor of Frisco Family Services' annual Mayor's Golf Classic on Monday, June 28, 2010. Baylor's continued commitment and partnership with FFS demonstrates their dedication to helping those in need or in crisis in the Frisco community. When the hospital first opened its doors in 2002, they immediately began providing financial support for FFS clients, supporting FFS programs by hosting food and toy drives, preparing hot meals once a month to clients along with being the Presenting Sponsor of the Mayor's Golf Classic for 4 years.

"Our partnerships with Baylor and others like them in the community, have provided the support and encouragement enabling Frisco Family Services to become the organization it is today," states Joni Klarin, FFS Development Director. "Together, we are able to keep food on the table and roofs over the heads of our clients, which has a positive impact on everyone in the entire community." Other premier sponsors for this event include Rent-A-Center, Smashburger and Tye Williams Financial Services.

Chairing this year's event are City Councilman Jeff Cheney and his wife Dana Cheney who join Mayor Maher Maso in inviting the public to participate in this fundraising tournament on the Country Club course at Stonebriar Country Club in Frisco beginning at 11:30 on Monday, June 28th.

Players of all skill levels are welcome to join Mayor Maher Maso and other community leaders for an exciting day of golf while helping those in need. This four person scramble offers the opportunity to win great prizes. This year's $10 raffle sponsored by Bank of the Ozarks provides the chance to win a 16 GB Wi-Fi Apple iPad, a Texas Ranch Getaway with overnight accommodations to Roughcreek Lodge and use of a Land Rover or a $250 Visa gift card.
