SOUTHBOUND DALLAS PARKWAY CLOSED BETWEEN GAYLORD AND SH 121 MONDAY NIGHT, OCTOBER 4
(September 30, 2010) Southbound Dallas Parkway will be closed between Gaylord Parkway and SH 121 Monday night, October 4. The frontage road will close at 9 p.m. Monday night and is expected to reopen by 3 a.m.
early Tuesday morning. The frontage road will be closed to through traffic, but traffic will still be able to the use the ramps to and from the Dallas North Tollway (DNT).
Specifically, during this closure, all southbound traffic that travels south of Gaylord Parkway must enter the southbound DNT. All other southbound traffic will be directed to turn left onto Gaylord Parkway and use Parkwood Boulevard as a detour. In addition, southbound traffic on the DNT will still be able to use the exit to SH 121.
During this overnight closure, residents of Stonebriar Creek Estates will still be able to exit their neighborhood and turn right onto Dallas Parkway, but they will not be able to enter their neighborhood using the Dallas Parkway entrance. Stonebriar Creek residents who are entering the neighborhood after 9 p.m. Monday night will need to use the entrance on Legacy Drive.
This road closure is part of NTTA’s interchange construction project.
Motorists are urged to use caution in the construction zone.
